Equipment Requirements

Service providers should have the following equipment.

Truck Requirements

A cargo van in nice condition is the most common vehicle configuration. A one ton extended cargo van is the best Van configuration for this type of work. Newer is better, however your vehicle doesn't have to be new, it just needs to look professional and be in good condition.

Truck Mounted Equipment

The three truck mounts shown below are all quality brand manufacturers. Your equipment does not have to be new, nor does it need to be one of these brands, but it should be a quality piece of equipment. A close inspection of your equipment should indicate that it has been well cared for and in good working condition. Your truck mounted machine should have at least a #4 blower.

Tools and Accessories

Ideally your van is equipped with all the tools and accessories required to do the full range of professional floor care services. You should have a commercial vacuum cleaner in good condition, and at least two drying fans. Hopefully you'll also have a turbo wand for doing tile and other hard surface work, as well as a 17" floor buffer.
